Teen Sexual Health
Center for Young Women’s Health — Provides health resources for teen girls about nutrition/fitness, sexuality, general/emotional health, and reproductive health issues. There is also an “Ask Us” section that answers any and all questions related to sexual health.
Center for Young Men’s Health — Offers resources for young men, including information on nutrition/fitness, sexuality, and general/emotional health.
Go Ask Alice — This website is run by Columbia University and has anonymous Q&A about any general, sexual, and emotional health issues, alcohol and drugs, sexuality, and relationships.
My Sistahs — A site made by and for young women of color that connects teens to peer educators for any sexual health, relationship, body image, and mental health questions. Also has a blog about issues affecting young women of color and a list of more resources and hotlines.
Scarleteen — A sex education organization that provides a space for sex Q&A and a teen sex blog about body issues, basic sexual health, gender orientation and identity, relationships, pregnancy and parenting, and contraceptive options. Also has info about other crisis hotlines and support groups.
Sex, Etc. — A website written by teens for teens that includes a glossary of sex terms, frequently asked sex questions, a list of crisis hotlines and everything you ever need to know about both girls’ and guys’ health, sex, relationships, LGBTQ issues, birth control, STIs, pregnancy, parenting, abortion, adoption, body image, and more!
Stay Teen — Another helpful website with information about teen pregnancy, relationships, birth control, STIs, and dating abuse. Also provides sex Q&A, sex myth-busting, a blog, and media coverage with discussions of current topics and TV shows (16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, etc.).
LGBTQ Health
Callen Lorde — Callen Lorde is a health center for the LGBTQ population and people living with HIV/AIDS, regardless of ability to pay. Services include primary health care services for women, adolescents, transgendered people, and seniors, as well as dental, sexual health, and mental health care. All of these services are provided by doctors who are experts in LGBTQ healthcare.
Identity House — An organization that provides peer-to-peer LGBTQ counseling and walk-in counseling for people to talk about issues related to sexual identity and relationships.
It Gets Better Project — An inspirational blog and video project that started because of an increase in LGBTQ bullying and suicide rates. The website connects users to “It Gets Better” videos made by followers of the project and offers suicide and crisis hotline information for LGBTQ youth in need.
LGBTQ Community Center – NYC — Offers information about LGBTQ community events in the city, current LGBTQ issues in the United States, and list of other LGBTQ centers and resources in the city.
The Trevor Project — An LGBTQ suicide prevention organization that offers info about suicide prevention in NYC.
YouthResource — A sexual health website for LGBTQ youth that connects them with peer educators to answer their sexual health questions and concerns.

Self-Esteem
Girls Inc. — A website for teen girls that connects them with their peers and provides a place to talk about, set and achieve goals and share what makes them strong women. Also has videos from young women who are a part of the Girls Inc. community.
Love Your Body — A website devoted to promoting healthy body images for women of all shapes, sizes, and cultures. It also has a list of websites about body image, activism, eating disorders, and women’s health.
Healthy Relationships
Break the Cycle — The leading national organization working to end teen dating violence. Their website has lists of legal services for youth in danger as well as opportunities to get involved in their empowerment programs like “Speak.Act.Change.”
Day One — Offers information about dating violence as well as contact information for legal protection services in NYC for those experiencing dating or domestic abuse. There is also an anonymous and confidential chat line for any and all questions and concerns about relationships and abuse.
NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault — This organization works to create a city free from sexual violence. The website offers resources and information for survivors of sexual violence as well as volunteer and job opportunities.

Back Up Your Birth Control — Everything you need to know about emergency contraception!
Bedsider — Has information about all different kinds of birth control, Q&A, places to get birth control (including emergency contraceptives), sex myth-busting, and articles about current health and birth control issues.
Book of Choices — Information on all options related to pregnancy and abortion for women in the state of New York. Also available in Spanish.
Project K.I.S.S. — An HIV/AIDS prevention program that offers free STI testing and youth counseling. K.I.S.S. stands for Know your status, Inform your Partner, Stay Safe.
NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene: Teen Health — The city’s Teen Health website has info about general physical health as well as STI testing, birth control, and relationship abuse. Also provides a list of clinics in NYC that offer condoms, birth control (including emergency contraception), and pregnancy, HIV, and STI testing.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America — PPFA offers an overview on topics that affect teens, including sex, relationships, pregnancy and pregnancy prevention, STI’s, LGBTQI issues and more!
Sex. Really. — A blog that connects readers with many other similar blogs, and also provides info on birth control, podcasts, and current articles.
TeenSource — Info about STIs, birth control, and local clinics so that teens can make informed sexual health decisions.

The Crunk Feminist Collective — A feminist blog designed for men and women of color.
The F Bomb — Another blog created by and for teenage girls that discusses pop-culture and other issues affecting young women who are fired up about feminism!
